The Sunday Sessions takes place in Dalkeith on Sunday (24 June) with Kaiser Chiefs on headlining duties.
After a hugely successful Sunday Sessions in Norwich last weekend, the festival rolls into Scotland this week with Leeds’ finest Kaiser Chiefs, Libertine Peter Doherty, New Order & Joy Division bassist Peter Hook and many more providing the musical entertainment.
Taking place over 3 stages in Dalkeith Country Park The Sunday Sessions has something for everyone. If you are after some 90’s nostalgia The Lightning Seeds headline the Session Stage (I bet they won’t play 3 Lions). Fancy a dance? The Warehouse has club legend Seb Fontaine as well as Brandon Block (him that started on Ronnie Wood at The Brits) K-Klass & Alex P.
Creation Records founder and “the guy who discovered Oasis” Alan McGee will open the party on the main stage and will be followed by Sugar Hill Gang, Feeder & Happy Mondays before Doherty & Kaiser Chief close out.
There is an element of local music on the Sessions Stage with Tamzene, Mechanical Arms, Patersani & The Lorelei playing. Indie veterans Brittish Sea Power will also play on this stage. If you haven’t seen them before I highly recommend it. They also have a great live show.
Tickets are still available from www.scotland.sundaysessions.net.
